Hi. I did two appearances related to my "33 1/3” Voodoo book.

The book is available at indie bookstores everywhere (please support them!) and on the Bloomsbury web site.

In late June, I participated in a weekly talk co-sponsored by the Journal of Popular Music Studies, the Pop Conference and the International Association for the Study of Popular Music-US. I talked about the cultural impact and political resonance of the song, “Devil’s "Pie,” joined by Chicago-based arts and culture journalist Britt Julious.

Also, my interview for the Bloomsbury Academic podcast with host Rebecca Morofsky just dropped. The podcast is also available on Spotify, iTunes, and wherever you listen to podcasts.
